Quick Tips for Healthy Oral Hygiene

Improving your oral hygiene by adding small changes to your daily routine can make all of the difference in achieving oral health. Following these quick tips will help lead your mouth down a path towards great oral health.

 

  1. Don’t go to bed without brushing your teeth

Brushing your teeth before bed removes all of the germs and plaque from the day. You should brush your teeth at least twice a day.

 

  1. Don’t forget your tongue

Gently brush your tongue every time you brush your teeth.

 

  1. Use Fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash

Fluoride is a leading defense against tooth decay.

 

  1. Flossing is as important as brushing

Flossing once a day helps remove any germs in between your teeth.

 

  1. See your Dentist regularly

At the minimum, you should see your dentist twice a year. Your everyday habits play a huge role in good oral health.
